ABOUT

Contemporary Abstract Artist Diana Dimova – TRAXI
Art, like a river, mustn't be stopped. And when this love passes through me... it must be shared.
I am a self-taught artist. I do not paint because I have decided to become an artist; I paint because I cannot not paint. I do not create only to sell paintings. I create because something inside me needs to move.
Sometimes, inspiration arrives with such force that I wake up in the middle of the night and begin to paint. Sometimes an image appears in my mind, sometimes it is only a feeling, or raw energy. I do not always know where a painting will take me, but I know that when the river begins to flow, I must follow it.
Art passes through me to reach you.
Nature is my home.
I have always felt a deep connection with nature—not as something outside of us, but as something to which we belong. Nature is my inspiration, my teacher, my mother, and my home. It taught me to feel, and it taught me to listen.
In my work, I paint the cycle of life. I explore the five elements—Water, Earth, Air, Fire, and Spirit. Every river, every bird, every tree, and every human life is part of the same living story.
WATER — Silence, emotion, flow.
EARTH — Connection, grounding, belonging.
AIR — Freedom, movement, possibility.
FIRE — Energy, courage, transformation.
SPIRIT — Consciousness, faith, connection.
Together, they are part of the same living story.
Every painting begins there.
We are an inseparable part of Planet Earth, and therein lies our true power. Because right here, right now, life is wonderful.
