 THE BRAID OF LIFE 

  • The Braid of Life art in action limited edition abstract print by contemporary artist Diana Dimova TRAXI. An abstract expressionist painting featuring energetic, chaotic splatters and drips of pink, gold, blue, white, and black paint over a textured canvas.

    Our life is a Braid of Events, Paths, Questions, and Answers.

    The original painting "The Braid of Life" was sold at a charity auction. The proceeds helped build nest boxes for the endangered Eurasian pygmy owl in the Rhodope Mountains. Today, there are little owlets living there – art has turned into new life!

    Live Painting Performance & Award-Winning Artwork

    On January 21st, at exactly 4:00 PM, something happened that moved me more than anything else. Two canvases were placed before me, and dozens of people gathered around. Their eyes were filled with anticipation, but I knew that this magic was not just for me.

    The first canvas was entirely mine. I began to paint, filled with a powerful energy that poured into the colors. I let my emotions guide me and turn into color and form. Just as I have seen in my studio, the painting seemed to appear of its own accord.

    Later, this artwork, titled "Mood", was recognized and awarded in an art contest. The painting was a vibrant, abstract expression of the joy and spontaneity of the festive atmosphere. I used deep blue hues intertwined with playful, warm accents, creating a sense of movement and joy. Born live before everyone's eyes, this piece became a dynamic and colorful reflection of the mood in that exact moment.
